Planetarium Lecturers were not expected to narrate these scripts in foreign languages. Mr. Oles commissioned foreign language instructors from local schools or colleges to narrate the sky show on audio tape, in the languages offered during the Festival: Spanish, French, and German. The pre-recorded narration would play during the sky show, while the Planetarium Lecturer would simply control the star, slide, and video scenes from the Planetarium Control Console, according to the script provided. In the script, there were certain "word cues" (English-language word cues) for the Planetarium Lecturer handling the Control Console, so planetarium lecturers did not have to understand the foreign language in the narration.
There were two scripts given to Planetarium Lecturers, for performing a Foreign Language Program planetarium show. The first, shorter script was simply a technical script describing all of the technical aspects for operating the Planetarium Control Console during the show. The second script was a narration script, providing the Planetarium Lecturer with all of the narration (including the "word cues"), pre-recorded on the audio recording. This script provided this narration in the English language.
